ABOUT AUST


The Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) was founded by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission in 1995. Dhaka Ahsania Mission is a non-profit voluntary organization in Bangladesh. The Mission was established in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an outstanding educationist and social reformer of undivided India. With his own vision of a better society, characterized by a wealth of moral and spiritual values of the highest humanism that are universally acclaimed through ages and manifested in every sphere of life social, economic and cultural; and access to education and resources, he established the Mission. His remarkable educational reforms include among others introduction of roll number system in the public examination and creating equal opportunity for education of all groups of people in the society...Read More

Let me welcome you to this website, the information and data bank of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, popularly known as AUST.  The previous version was designed almost  a decade back, and although the information and notices were posted on regular basis the presentation formats of majority of the renowned Universities  have changed a lot since then. It was overdue that AUST should have a new format and a dynamic system to present the viewers the information needed in the quickest possible time in a friendly mode. AUST will be represented in the COP 26 Summit of United Nations on Climate Change in November, 2021 to be held in Glasgow,UK



Dr Taskin Jamal (Assistant Professor, Dept. of EEE, AUST), along with the researchers from Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL), Bangladesh and Keele University, UK, have been awarded a grant of GBP 5,000 by the Climate Compatible Growth (CCG) programme, Foreign Development and Commonwealth Office (FCDO), UK to submit a study on Bangladesh's Renewable Energy Prospects for Long-Term Growth and Sustainable Development.
