The School of Business (SoB) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) started its journey along with other departments of the University in 1995. This school is the sole one under the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. The SoB-AUST sets its goal to make the students competent to face the challenges of business world as well as non-business organizations with state-of-art knowledge, expertise and skills in diversified areas to transform those into sustainable and winning organizations. MESSAGE FROM HEAD

While School of Business (SoB) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) has been established to provide business education, successes have been coming to those who make the best of opportunities that come their ways. Accomplishing a success may be somewhat tough but that is not incredible. A success can be attained by knowledge and/or experience with earnest effort in a particular direction. The SoB allures the students to its business education that qualifies them for their ultimate achievements. It has skilled and trained faculty members, who are organized to help its students in obtaining knowledge of business education, who help in decorating the future of the students through career counseling and character building. With a very pleasant job place atmosphere, the SoB faculty members contribute significantly to the academics through teaching, seminars, publications etc. The School offers business contemporary disciplines in its education so that it paves the way for students to become true leaders in their professional fields. Across such disciplines, the School offers diverse courses of fundamental as well as elective courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The School has computer lab for aiding teaching and research activities. The students of SoB-AUST can earn internship experience after completion of all the required courses of a degree program that eventually may enable them to get a job offer. The School arranges on a regular basis the seminars and/or the workshops in various subjects of its education. It fosters polishing leadership skills in its students through various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The SoB-AUST is acclaimed for its commitment to inculcating the spirit of continuous learning among students. The benefits of which follow them even after their graduations from the School.

The aim of the School is to noticeably develop its teaching and research activities in innovative directions in a near future. It can be expected that the School would appear in the foreseeable future as the most sought one in terms of academic excellence in imparting its business education.
