The School of Business (SoB), Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), conducted a series of eight separate sessions on “Academic Rules, Regulations, and Penalties” for the students of the BBA Program, covering students from 1st Year 1st Semester to 4th Year 2nd Semester of Fall 2025. The sessions were conducted separately by the eight respective Batch Advisors, with each advisor conducting the session for their assigned batch. The initiative was undertaken to ensure that students across all batches received proper guidance regarding the University’s academic rules, examination regulations, and disciplinary policies. During the sessions, students were briefed on important aspects of the AUST Examination Rules & Regulations, including examination eligibility, the requirement of 70% attendance, examination-day procedures, grading and marks distribution, promotion requirements, improvement examinations, carryover examinations, and graduation requirements. The Batch Advisors also discussed the University’s Student Discipline & Conduct Policy, including minor and major offences, applicable penalties, escalation of penalties for repeated violations, and procedures for reporting concerns. Particular emphasis was placed on maintaining discipline, responsible conduct, and compliance with university regulations. Through these eight batch-wise sessions, the School of Business aimed to enhance students’ awareness of their academic responsibilities, examination procedures, and expected standards of conduct, thereby promoting a culture of discipline, responsibility, and regulatory compliance throughout the BBA Program.
