Farewell Ceremony for Outgoing Students of Fall Semester 2025 Held at AUST

Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) organized a farewell ceremony for the outgoing students of the Fall Semester 2025 on Thursday, 1 October 2026, at the Prof. Dr. M. H. Khan Auditorium. The program was organized by the ASW Office of AUST. Professor Dr. Golam Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of AUST and President of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), attended the program as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Pro Vice-Chancellor (In Charge) and Treasurer, AUST, joined as the Special Guest, and the program was chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice-Chancellor of AUST.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Prof. Dr. Md. Shariful Islam, Advisor of Students’ Welfare delivered the welcome speech. In his address, he wished the graduating students success in their future careers and advised them to uphold moral values at every stage of life.

Following this, one student representative from each program delivered a farewell speech, sharing cherished memories and experiences from their university life. The speakers included Md. Walid Ibne Hassan Khan (Architecture), Arafat Al Amin Ratul (EEE), Tahmid Faieak (Mechanical), Shanta Alam (SoB), Tanjir Rahman (CSE), Md. Fahad Khan (IPE), Md. Nur-A-Alahi (Civil), and Forhadur Jaman Noyan (Textile)

Professor Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Pro Vice-Chancellor (In Charge) and Treasurer of AUST, attended the program as the Special Guest and delivered a speech for the outgoing students. In his speech, she encouraged the outgoing students to embrace future challenges with confidence, uphold ethical values, and utilize their knowledge and skills to contribute positively to society and national development.

Prof. Dr.  Golam Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), AUST and President of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, stated that education is not only about acquiring knowledge but also about building character, fostering creativity, and making meaningful contributions to society. He advised the students to uphold integrity and responsibility in all aspects of their lives.

The program was chaired by Prof. Dr.  Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice-Chancellor of AUST. In his remarks, he highlighted the university’s vision of producing graduates capable of addressing both national and global challenges. He expressed his hope that the graduates would dedicate themselves for the betterment of the country and humanity.

Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Matin, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Wahiduzzaman Khan, Dean, Faculty of Business and Social Science, Prof. Dr. Farida Nilufar, Dean, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Departmental Heads, Office Heads, Teachers, Officers were also present in the occasion.
