The Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) of AUST is nationally and internationally recognized by its contribution to different fields of Electrical & Electronic Engineering. The Undergraduate program is accredited by professional bodies such as BAETE and UGC. The graduates of this department have established themselves in a variety of positions in Government and private services. The programs offered by the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering offer a blend of knowledge from the areas of Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, and Telecommunication Engineering. MESSAGE FROM HEAD


Welcome to the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology. Our department offers a four-year B.Sc. in EEE program since the establishment of the university in 1995. The program is spread over eight semesters with two semesters per academic year. The vision of the program is to provide an environment for development of skillful graduates and quality research as per national and international needs. The department has also been offering a PG program since 2015.

Our mission is to use novel methodologies with highest quality to foster a deeper understanding of electrical and electronic engineering. With the ever changing needs of the society, our UG and PG both programs help students to innovate through pushing the boundaries of technologies. We are committed to encourage our students through various ways including collaborating with industry on research, building a pipeline of students with local and international engineering societies, holding conferences, seminars, workshops and connecting with alumni. We encourage our students to foster creativities and broad range of abilities in engineering knowledge.

There are now about 1400 students studying in this department. The department has more than 60 full time faculty members. The expertise ranges of our faculties broadly encompass numerous fields of EEE. Deep knowledge in various advanced fields of EEE enables us to meaningfully contribute to education, research, and industry. The graduates of this department have earned a variety of positions in Government, semi-government, private organizations, different industries, and internationally renowned universities.
