Memorandum of understanding (MoU) Between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM)


A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and the Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM) on October 16, 2025, at the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room, Level 4, Block D of AUST.

The signing ceremony marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership aimed at promoting joint initiatives in the fields of research, training, and academic development. The MoU seeks to strengthen institutional cooperation in capacity building, quality assurance, and management education—fostering mutual growth and innovation.

The event was graced by the presence of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of AUST, Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, along with other distinguished AUST officials including Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Treasurer; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC; Prof. Dr. Dewan Hasan Ahmed, Director, RPO; Prof. Dr. Lal Mohan Baral, Director, CoE; Prof. Dr. Mazharul Islam, Director, CES; Dr. Naznin Sultana Chaity, Additional Director, IQAC; and Dr. Fakir Sharif Hossain, Additional Director, IQAC.

Representing BIM, the ceremony was attended by Dr. Engr. Md. Mamunur Rashid, Director, IQAC and Head of Production Management Division; Mr. Md. Rajibul Hoque; and Ms. Israt Jahan Rinko.

During the event, both parties expressed their commitment to fostering academic excellence, sharing knowledge resources, and implementing joint programs that enhance the quality of education and professional training in Bangladesh.

The MoU signing reflects AUST’s continuous effort to build strategic partnerships with national institutions to promote quality education, innovation, and sustainable development through collaboration and shared expertise.

As a token of mutual appreciation, Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque presented a crest to Dr. Engr. Md. Mamunur Rashid, who reciprocated by presenting a crest to the Vice-Chancellor.
