The Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) held a grand inauguration ceremony for its new bus service, aimed at enhancing transportation facilities for students. This initiative is a step forward in ensuring a more efficient, comfortable, and accessible commuting system within and beyond the university premises.

Prof. Dr. Golam Rahman, Chairman, Broad of Trustees, AUST and President, Dhaka Ahsania Mission attended the program as the Chief Guest and spoke on the program. The Chief Guest delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the university’s commitment to student welfare and sustainable transportation.

Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor, AUST spoke as Guest of Honor and Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Treasurer, AUST spoke as Special Guests. The program was chaired by Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice-Chancellor, AUST.

Prof. Dr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Jasmin Ara Begum, Dean, Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Dr. S. M. Shafiful Alam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Social Science, Prof. Dr. Md. Ashrafur Rahman, Proctor, Prof. Dr. Md. Shariful Islam, Students’ Welfare, AUST, all academic Heads, Office Heads, Students were present.

The newly launched buses were showcased, and a brief demonstration ride was conducted for attendees. The inauguration of the AUST bus service marks a significant milestone in the university’s efforts to enhance student facilities.
