The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Advisor of Students’ Welfare (ASW) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Dhaka Ahsania Mission jointly organized a seminar on "Fostering Mental Wellbeing " for all students of AUST. The program was held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 02:00 p.m. to 04:30 p.m. at M. H. Khan Auditorium, AUST.

Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice-Chancellor, AUST, Prof. Dr.  Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro Vice - Chancellor, AUST, Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Treasurer, AUST, Dean of the Faculties, Head of the Departments, selected Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Lecturers and all students of AUST were present at the seminar. The session chair was Prof. Dr. Mahjabeen Haque, Professor, Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, Dhaka University.

The program was moderated by Ms. Rakhi Ganguli, Senior Psychologist, Dhaka Ahsania Mission. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director, IQAC, AUST gave his welcome speech. Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque emphasized the importance of mental health and overall successful education. Pro-vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman mentioned students about various emotional and mental challenges.

Prof. Dr. Mahjabeen Haque addresses how we can improve our mental health, and promote mental health conditions. After open discussion by Rakhi Ganguly, Senior Psychologist, Health Sector, Dhaka Ahsania Mission, this program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Fakir Sharif Hossain, Additional Director, IQAC, AUST
