Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology Triumphs with First Place in Supply Chain and Logistics Competition"


Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology has proudly clinched the first position in the Supply Chain and Logistics Competition at the prestigious 6th Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Bangladesh Conference. Held from December 26-28, 2023, at the Kridhbid Institution in Dhaka, this event marked a gathering of some of the brightest minds in the field of industrial engineering and operations management.

The team from our university, comprising Mohammad Jawadul Hoque Rohan, Sajid Hassan Sejan, and Fairuj Homayra, distinguished themselves with their innovative project on "A Leveraging Digital Twins: A Framework for Sustainable Supply Chain of Perishable Goods in Bangladesh." This topic, highly relevant in today's fast-paced and environmentally conscious market, resonated with the judges and attendees alike. Their project delved into the complexities of managing perishable goods within Bangladesh, a challenging task considering the country's climate and infrastructural constraints. The team focused on developing a sustainable model that not only ensures the efficient distribution of perishables but also minimizes waste and maximizes shelf life through innovative logistic solutions.

The team's achievement has set a new benchmark for future participants and has shown that with the right blend of knowledge, innovation, and dedication, significant contributions to the field of supply chain and logistics can be made.
