The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Ulkasemi Pvt. Ltd. was held on June 22, 2023. The event took place at the VC Seminar Room of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, and it was graced by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer, AUST. Mr. Enayetur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ulkasemi Pvt. Ltd. led the team from Ulkasemi Pvt. Ltd. Faculty members, esteemed guests and representatives from both institutions were present in the event.

The MoU signing ceremony intended to create a collaborative partnership between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology and Ulkasemi Pvt. Ltd. This MoU aims to organize short Internship / Industry-Grade Training program at the company facilities / AUST premises and carry out collaborative research programs to groom EEE final year students with industry-level technical expertise.

Prof. Dr. Tareq Aziz, Head of the Department of EEE, delivered an insightful speech discussing the importance of academic-industry collaboration and its impact on technological advancements. He emphasized on the necessity of updating current VLSI course curriculum to be more pertinent to the industry requirements based on feedback from industry experts. Mr. Enayetur Rahman, the CEO of Ulkasemi Pvt. Ltd. shared his experiences and visions towards the latest trends in engineering and technology, highlighting the power of combining academic excellence with industry expertise to create an environment where innovation flourishes and knowledge is transformed into action.

As Chief Guest of the event, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice Chancellor, AUST expressed his pleasure at the partnership between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology and Ulkasemi Pvt. Ltd. He highlighted the significance of fostering such collaborations to create an atmosphere beneficial to research, development, and knowledge exchange.

The highlight of the event was the signing of the MOU between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology and Ulkasemi Pvt. Ltd. Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman and Mr. Enayetur Rahman signed the agreement, symbolizing the official commitment of both parties to collaborate and work together towards their shared goals.
