A seminar on Sustainable Building Materials was held on Sunday, January 15, 2023, in the Seminar Room of the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) organized by AUST Civil Engineering Society (ACES). The keynote Speaker was Mr. Fakhruddin Md. Khan, Head of the Technical, LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-Chancellor, AUST was present in the seminar as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor, AUST was present as the Special Guest. Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Head, Department of Civil Engineering, AUST was present as a Session Chair.

Mr. Fakhruddin Md. Khan delivering his speech on Sustainable Building Materials and spoke on the ways how a student can make himself or herself differentiate from other competitors in the job market. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor, AUST contributed to the discussion by sharing their remarks in the seminar.
