VC, Pro-VC and Heads visit Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited, meet AUST graduates


Vice Chancellor of AUST Prof Dr. Md. Fazli Ilahi, Pro-VC Prof Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, Prof. Dr. A. M. Baki, Head EEE, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Head MPE, Prof. Dr. A.K. M. Ehtesanul Islam, Prof. Dr. Dewan Hasan Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed Choudhury, Prof. Dr. Satyendra Nath Biswas, Mr. Shoeb Mohammad Shahriar visited the Walton Digitech facilities on 29.1.22 at Chandra who are manufacturing Mobiles, Laptops, Refrigerators, PCBs, Compressors etc. They were impressed by the quality of the products which are of high international standard and praised the people who are involved with this prestigious mega manufacturing plant. VC Prof. Fazli Ilahi advised the AUST graduates of Walton to work with dedication so that they can learn more and contribute to the pride of the nation. More than 70 AUST graduates are working for different units of Walton. The AUST delegation was received by Engr. Liakat Ali, Deputy Managing Director, Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited, Engr Touhidur Rahman, Chief Business Officer, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Ray, Deputy Executive Director, IT department of Walton who explained the activities and plans of the manufacturing giant. They also praised the work of the AUST graduates. AUST and Walton agreed to work together for investigating the problems that can be solved to enhance product quality and to increase the practical knowledge of the AUST students.
