Signing ceremony of MoU between AUST and HBRI (Housing and Building Research Institute) for scientific research and development was held on 8^thDecember (Wednesday), 2021 at 3:30 PM in the Seminar Room of the university. The Parties hereby agreed to implement within the  framework  of  the rules  and regulations  applicable  in  each of the  institutions  and  subject  to availability  of funds and resources, the following programmes and activities, which may include, but not limited to:

• Academic and scientific staff exchanges;
• Joint research activities and research publications;
• Capacity building and laboratory establishment;

Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, AUST, Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer, AUST, Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Head, Department of Civil Engineering, AUST, distinguished professors and other faculty members of the Department of CE, AUST attended the event. Md. Shakhawat Hossain, Principal Research Engineer, HBRI,  Mr. Abdul Malek Sikder, Senior Research Consultant, SATREPS-TSUIB Project along with other distinguished officials of HBRI were also present in the event. Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer, (AUST) signed on behalf of the AUST and his counterpart, Md. Shakhawat Hossain, Principal Research Engineer, (HBRI) signed on behalf of HBRI.
