"AUST Hostel Iftar Party-2013" was held at Cafeteria of AUST with the presence of a large number of students on 25 July 2013. The boarders of AUST Hostel arranged the iftar party in order to observe the holy Ramadan.

Professor Dr. A. M. M. Safiullah, Vice-Chancellor along with Prof. Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam, Treasurer, Muhammad Abdul Gafur, Registrar, Prof. Dr. M. Shahabuddin, Proctor, M. Abul Hussain, Advisor of Students Welfare, Dr. Md. Ashrafur Rahman, Assistant Proctor, Dr. Mohammed Rubaiyat Chowdhury, Assistant Proctor, Teachers of Various Departments, a few University Officers & Staffs and Boarders of AUST Hostel were present on the program. The program was conducted by Mashiur Rahman, Assistant Proctor & Hostel In-charge of AUST.

During the party, prizes were distributed to the best player in indoor games and best performer for organizing dinner. The program was followed by dinner for the participants.
