Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) organized a farewell ceremony for the outgoing students of the Spring Semester 2025 on Thursday, 9 April 2026, at the Prof. Dr. M. H. Khan Auditorium. The program was organized by the ASW Office of AUST. Professor Dr. Golam Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of AUST and President of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), attended the program as the Guest of Honor, while Mr. Muhit Rahman, Managing Director of ONE Bank PLC, joined as the Chief Guest, and the program was chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice-Chancellor of AUST.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Prof. Dr. Md. Shariful Islam, Advisor of Students’ Welfare, delivered the welcome speech. In his address, he wished the graduating students success in their future careers and advised them to uphold moral values at every stage of life.

Following this, one student representative from each program delivered a farewell speech, sharing cherished memories and experiences from their university life. The speakers included Zarin Anjum Ananna (EEE), Ridika Islam (IPE), Ridwan Islam Desh (TE), Farhan Ishrak Nibir (Architecture), Himen Datta Chowdhury (ME), Zayeed Hasan Rafi (CSE), Md. Mehrab Adnan (SoB), and Nazmul Hasan Rafi (CE).

Professor Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Pro Vice-Chancellor (In Charge) and Treasurer of AUST, attended the program as the Special Guest and delivered a speech for the outgoing students. In his speech, she encouraged the outgoing students to embrace future challenges with confidence, uphold ethical values, and utilize their knowledge and skills to contribute positively to society and national development.

Mr. Muhit Rahman, Managing Director of ONE Bank PLC, attended the event as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he emphasized that graduation marks not the end of learning but the beginning of a new journey, where practical life offers valuable lessons every day.

Prof. Dr.  Golam Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), AUST and President of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, stated that education is not only about acquiring knowledge but also about building character, fostering creativity, and making meaningful contributions to society. He advised the students to uphold integrity and responsibility in all aspects of their lives.

The program was chaired by Prof. Dr.  Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice-Chancellor of AUST. In his remarks, he highlighted the university’s vision of producing graduates capable of addressing both national and global challenges. He expressed his hope that the graduates would dedicate themselves to the betterment of the country and humanity.

M Shafiul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Social Science, Prof. Dr. Farida Nilufar, Dean, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Prof. Dr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Registrar (In Charge), AUST, Librarian, Departmental Heads, Office Heads, Teachers, Officers and outgoing Students were also present in the occasion.
