School of Business, AUST organized ‘MBA Night - 2022’


School of Business, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) organized the ‘MBA Night’ on September 11, 2022, at 6.00 PM, in the Prof. Dr. M.H. Khan Auditorium of AUST. 

The Holy Quran was recited to begin the program. Ms. Parul Akhter, Associate Professor, and MBA coordinator, School of Business, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology Business delivered the welcome speech while Dr. SM Shafiul Alam, Professor & Head, School of Business, Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology presided over the inauguration ceremony.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology delivered his speech as the Chief Guest. He said that an MBA degree can heighten marketability as a professional in the competitive job market. Therefore, students should focus on building professionalism through improving analytical and communication skills which will shape their careers.

The guest of honor Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, AUST, quoted that a strong professional network is one of the most valuable assets and attending business school would help students to develop a strong professional network which enables them to gain access to new job opportunities. 

The special guests were Mr. Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, Mr. Senior Vice President & CFO, Corporate office, Bank of Asia Limited, Mr. Sujan Kumar Saha, Finance Controller, United Dhaka Tobacco Group, and Professor Dr. Saleh Mohammed Mashehdul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology mentioned that one of the key benefits of an MBA is that it improves theoretical and practical knowledge of how businesses function. Moreover, students should know how technological shifts affect cultures, economies, and businesses all over the globe so that they can keep up with changing business paradigms. 

Finally, the program was closed with a cultural program and dinner respectively.
