Two teams, each consisting of three students of the Department of CSE of AUST, outperformed most of the teams in the Inter University Programming Contest-2014 that was organized by the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) IT SOCIETY (IITS) on 28th February, 2014. One team, AUST_Royal_Flush, secured the 2^nd position and the other team, AUST.SRM_101 secured the 3^rd position. The proud members of the foregoing team are Rezwanul Islam Maruf (4.2), Hasib Billah (3.2) and Md. Musfiqur Rahman Sanim (3.1), while of the other team are Shakil Ahmed (3.2), Rajon Bardhan (3.2) and Mahir Asef Kabir (3.1). Coaches of the teams were Mr. Md. Sami Uddin, Lecturer, CSE, AUST and Mr. Emam Hossain, Lecturer, CSE, AUST respectively. A total of 61 teams from different universities of the country participated in the competition
