Redwan Ferdous, student of Dept of E.E.E.  4^th year 2^nd semester, Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST) has been awarded 2^nd  prize in the event of Engineering Project Competition for Copyrighted Version of Compact & Cost-effective Project Board. The event was a part of 3^rd Youth Festival organized by CUETDS- Prothom Alo. In the 3^rd day of the event the competition was inaugurated by Faculty Members of Engineering departments, Chittagogng University of Engineering and Technology (CUET).  About 21 Projects were displayed from over fiveUniversities. 1^st & 3^rd both prizes were achieved by the team from CUET.

The event was solely arranged by CUET debating society (CUETDS) from 18 to 20^th April 2013. Dr. Sadiqul Islam, Assistant Professor, Dept of Civil Engineering, CUET was the coordinator of the festival. The 3 Days event consists of inter-university debating competition, tech festival, cultural festival, photography & short film festival. About 19 universities  across the country participated in the event.

It.' to be mentioned that  1^st & 3^rd prototype of his project of  Compact & Cost-effective Project Board was also awarded Champion in AUST EEE Fest fall11 & 1^st Runner up in Inter-University Tech Fiesta , KUET
