A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Daikin Airconditioning India Private Ltd (DAIPL). The MoU was signed at the AUST campus on Tuesday, April 04, 2023. Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer, AUST, and Mr. Tsurumaru Toshiharu, Deputy Managing Dirrector, DAIPL, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-Chancellor, AUST, Prof. Dr. Abu Tweb Abu Ahmed, Vice-Chairman, Board of Trustees, AUST, Prof. Dr. M. Shamsher Ali, Member, Board of Trustees, AUST, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor, AUST, were present during the signing ceremony.

Among others, Head of the Mechanical and Production Engineering Department, AUST, Prof. Dr. Mazharul Islam, Francis Louis, Country Manager, DAIPL, were present MPE Department of AUST, and DAIKIN will establish the AUST-Daikin Center of Excellence at the AUST campus. Daikin’s state-of-the-art products and ideas will be showcased at the center which will be utilized to train the students. The purpose of the center is to prepare the students for the HVAC industry through theoretical and practical skills training.
