Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) recently hosted a highly successful technical seminar titled "Color Decoding and Intelligent Matching for the Future" on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Held at the university's VC Seminar Hall, the event was a pivotal collaboration between SIAM PRO Dyechem Group, ZHEJIANG YUTAI, and the Department of Textile Engineering, AUST, aimed at exploring cutting-edge advancements and the transformative potential of intelligent color technology.

The seminar, which ran from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, attracted a significant audience comprising faculty members, eager students from the Department of Textile Engineering, and esteemed guests from various textile industries, underscoring the keen interest in the evolving landscape of color management.

The program commenced with an insightful Company Introduction delivered by Mr. Md. Ashiqul Islam, Assistant R&D Manager at SIAM PRO, providing attendees with an overview of the company's vision and contributions to the industry. Following this, Mr. Daniel Chang, Director of SIAM PRO GROUP, delivered a compelling Opening Speech, highlighting the strategic importance of adopting advanced color solutions to meet global standards and enhance efficiency in the textile and related sectors.

The core of the seminar was the highly anticipated Technical Session presented by Mr. Peter Ruan, Director, ZHEJIANG YUTAI. Mr. Ruan's presentation focused extensively on "Elicolor," an innovative system developed by Zhejiang Yutai Technology Co., Ltd. He elucidated how Elicolor leverages AI color processing, industry digitalization technologies, and networked collaboration, backed by 67 authorized patents, to achieve unparalleled accuracy and efficiency in color decoding and intelligent matching. The session detailed Elicolor's application across various scenarios, including:

• Large-Scale Production Applications: Demonstrating industrial-grade AI algorithms for accurate color matching, immediate resolution of deviations between standards and actual production, and self-learning capabilities for enterprise production environments.
• Laboratory Applications: Showcasing errorless generation of formula dyes, meeting 3 Sigma testing deviations, and simplifying quality control data entry, empowering users from beginners to experts.
• Brand Applications: Highlighting full-function color card development, comprehensive coverage of technical details for smooth integration, and rapid generation of material and color development reports.

The depth and practicality of Mr. Ruan's session provided attendees with a profound understanding of how these technological breakthroughs are set to revolutionize dyeing engineering, quality control, and product development.

The seminar was graced by the distinguished presence of Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice-Chancellor, AUST, who served as the Chief Guest. In his address, Prof. Hoque commended the organizers for arranging such a timely and relevant seminar.
