KFR Library, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), jointly organised an informative webinar with EBSCO, India, on “Inspiring Research and Innovation: Using IEEE Publications” on 12 October 2026 at 7:00 PM via Zoom.

The Hon’ble Pro Vice-Chancellor of AUST chaired the session. The Chairman of the KFR Library Committee, heads of departments, faculty members, administrative staff, and students attended the webinar. The Pro Vice-Chancellor shared his valuable remarks and highlighted the importance of academic resources in teaching, learning, and research.

Dr. Md. Zillur Rahman, Librarian of AUST, conducted the webinar. Mr. Raz Kumar Mahapatra, Training Manager at EBSCO, served as the resource person. He gave a detailed presentation on IEEE and IEEE Xplore. He explained the platform’s features, functions, and available scholarly resources.

The main objective of the webinar was to help faculty members and students use IEEE Xplore effectively. The platform provides access to e-journals, conference papers, proceedings, transactions, and other scholarly publications. These resources support academic activities and research.

An interactive question-and-answer session followed the presentation. Participants shared their views and asked questions about IEEE Xplore. The webinar ended on a positive note, with participants appreciating the useful information provided.

In his closing remarks, the Librarian encouraged participants to make greater use of library resources to improve teaching, learning, and research at AUST.
