The Department of Civil Engineering, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), organized an Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) Meeting on 30 July 2026 with the objective of strengthening academia–industry collaboration and obtaining expert feedback for the continuous improvement of the undergraduate Civil Engineering program. The discussions focused on curriculum enhancement, Program Outcomes, accreditation under BAETE, industry attachment and internships, practical and field-based learning, emerging engineering technologies, sustainability, artificial intelligence, professional skills, and stronger industry–academia linkages. The distinguished IAP members provided valuable recommendations to further align the curriculum with evolving professional and industry requirements. The Department expressed its commitment to incorporating feasible recommendations from the Industry Advisory Panel into the academic program and continuing its efforts toward developing competent, industry-ready, and future-focused Civil Engineering graduates.
