The School of Business, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) successfully organized a Career Roadmap Session on 23 July 2026 at the M. H. Khan Auditorium. The session featured renowned corporate leader, entrepreneur, author, lyricist, and Founder of Achieve Consulting, GaanChill Music, and ASIX Bangladesh, Mr. Asif Iqbal, as the keynote resource person. The event was designed to equip students with practical insights into career planning, leadership, innovation, and the evolving role of technology in shaping future careers.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Wahiduzzaman Khan, Dean, Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, AUST. The audience was then introduced to the distinguished career and achievements of the resource person. The event was further graced by inspiring remarks from Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Honorable Pro Vice-Chancellor (Acting) and Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Dr. Parul Akhter, Head, School of Business. A token of appreciation was presented to Mr. Asif Iqbal in recognition of his valuable contribution before the commencement of the keynote session.

During the interactive session, Mr. Asif Iqbal shared his remarkable journey across diverse fields, including telecommunications, retail, entrepreneurship, consulting, music, and artificial intelligence. Drawing on his experience at organizations such as Robi (formerly AKTEL), Shwapno, GaanChill Music, and Achieve Consulting, he demonstrated how recognizing opportunities and embracing emerging technologies can create a lasting impact. He emphasized that success is not determined solely by technical expertise but by the ability to understand how to leverage technology to solve real-world problems and generate value.

A central theme of the session was the "See It – Build It – Achieve It" framework, through which students were encouraged to identify opportunities, transform ideas into practical solutions, and continuously strive for meaningful achievements. He highlighted the growing importance of artificial intelligence, creativity, adaptability, and lifelong learning in today's competitive job market. Students were also inspired to develop their personal brands by creating value, embracing innovation, and focusing on building sustainable skills rather than merely competing with others. The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer segment, where students actively interacted with the speaker on topics related to career development, entrepreneurship, leadership, and future workplace trends. The event ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to the resource person and a vote of thanks, marking the successful conclusion of an insightful and highly engaging program.
