School of Business

On February 6, 2025, the School of Business (SoB) celebrated its traditional Pitha Utshob (Pitha Festival) at Redex, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). The event, a celebrated tradition of the SoB, brought together students, faculty members, and esteemed guests for a cultural gathering full of warmth and festive spirit. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of AUST, adding a sense of prestige and recognition to the occasion. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Hon’ble Pro Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Treasurer; Prof. Dr. S.M. Shafiul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Social Sciences and Registrar; Prof. Dr. Jasmin Ara Begum, Dean, Faculty of Architecture and Planning; Prof. Dr. Md. Ashrafur Rahman, Proctor; Prof. Dr. Wahiduzzaaman Khan, Head, School of Business; and the respected Heads from other departments and teachers of School of Business were present in the festival.

This event provides students and faculty with an opportunity to showcase their culinary skills, with a wide variety of pithas on display for everyone to enjoy. This celebration not only brings people together through food but also serves as a platform for cultural exchange and bonding.
