3 Minute Thesis Progress (3MTP) Presentation organized by Dept of EEE


The Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) commenced a ‘3 Minute Thesis Progress (3MTP)’ Presentation on December 22, 2022. ‘3 minute thesis’ presentation is a worldwide standard practice that helps the students to explain their research topics/findings to an intelligent non-specialist audience in under 3 minutes with limited visual aids. This time, at AUST, the students from final year presented the progress report of their ongoing thesis/project through a 3-minute presentation. 

The program was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-Chancellor of AUST. Prof. Dr. Tareq Aziz, Head of the Dept. of EEE, Professors and all other faculty members along with all participants were present in the occasion. The presentations were conducted in three class rooms. Studies from different aspects of electrical engineering including electronics, power and communication stream were unveiled in the event through 38 group presentations.

Presentations of each session were evaluated by respective session chair and co-chair. Each group presented their work highlighting the literature review, and objectives of the work.  The preliminary results and possible outcomes of each project were also shown. After the presentations there was a 2-minute Q&A session for each group with a standard rubric for evaluation. The Department of EEE extends its appreciation to AUST EEE society for their logistic support throughout the event.
