The Center for Extension Services (CES) is governed by the CES Committee, which serves as the principal authority responsible for overseeing, approving, and monitoring all CES activities. The Committee ensures that the research, testing, consultancy, training, examination, special education, and advisory services undertaken through CES are aligned with the vision and mission of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), maintain high professional standards, and contribute to sustainable development.
The CES Committee provides strategic direction for the Center, approves project proposals, reviews progress and quality of ongoing activities, and promotes effective collaboration among academia, industry, government, and other stakeholders. The Committee also oversees the utilization of CES resources and periodically reviews and updates CES policies and regulations to meet emerging needs and opportunities.
The CES Committee is chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of AUST and comprises the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer, Director of CES, Deans of the relevant faculties, Heads of the participating academic departments and School, and the Registrar of AUST. The Committee meets as and when required to review project proposals, monitor progress, ensure quality, and facilitate the effective implementation of CES activities.
