Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AUST-CYPE Software


In a significant milestone, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was formally established between the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and CYPE Software. The MoU signing ceremony took place virtually, with Prof. Dr. Mazharul Islam, Head of the Mechanical and Production Engineering Department, representing AUST, and Mr. Raúl Calatayud Villalón representing CYPE Software. The agreement solidifies a collaboration that enables AUST students to access and utilize the advanced tools provided by CYPE Software.

CYPE Software, headquartered in Alicante, Spain, is widely recognized for its comprehensive software suite designed for architectural, engineering, and construction purposes. This collaborative initiative, initiated by AUST, seeks to empower students with practical, hands-on experience using industry-standard software tools.

The ASME AUST Student Chapter played a pivotal role in facilitating this collaboration, under the leadership of the Faculty Advisor, Dr. Md. Kharshiduzzaman. The collaborative effort was further supported by Engr. Mafijur Rahman of KED Solutions, who provided valuable insights and assistance throughout the negotiation process. Representing the student section, Shahidul Haque Afgani, Chairperson of the ASME AUST Student Chapter, played a crucial role in ensuring that student perspectives were effectively communicated during the negotiation and implementation phases. This dynamic team, along with their diverse expertise and commitment to advancing education, collectively orchestrated the successful integration of the CYPE software into AUST's academic curriculum. Their collaborative efforts underscore the significance of cohesive partnerships between academic institutions, student organizations, and industry leaders in fostering innovation and enhancing the educational experience for students.

 

Software Access

AUST students gained access to CYPE software for educational and research purposes. The agreement allowed students to explore various modules of the software, enhancing their skills in structural analysis and design.

Training and Workshops

CYPE, in collaboration with ASME AUST Student Chapter, conducted training sessions and workshops to familiarize students with the software's functionalities.

Practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises were incorporated to ensure effective learning.

Technical Support

CYPE committed to provide technical support to address any queries or challenges faced by students during the usage of the software.

Regular updates and resources were shared to keep students informed about the latest features.
