ASHRAE AUST Student Branch organized an industrial visit at MAMPOWER Ltd on 4th February, 2023.

MAMPOWER Ltd is one of the leading industries in Bangladesh for manufacturing transformers and switch gears. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the components that are used, the process and machines that are used to manufacture transformers and switch gears from the core. Circuit Breaker types and applications: CB, MCB, MCCB, ACB, VCB, etc.; Starter Types and Applications: DOL, Star-Delta, Soft Starter, VFD, etc.; Busbar, BBT, Selector Switch; Magnetic Contact, Relay etc.; Cable Core and designations had also been discussed on a brief note.

Engr. M.A. Repon Rahman, Manager (Testing & QC), along with Engr. MD. Rafikul Islam, Sr Engineer (Production, MCWL), MAMPOWER Ltd. guided the team throughout the whole session and cleared the queries.
