Mechanical and Production Engineering

A group of 15 (fifteen) students from IPE's level 3, term 2 participated in an industrial attachment at Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Centre (BITAC) in Tejgaon, Dhaka, from January 1 to January 5, 2023. They have seen different types of industrial operations practically and are able to know their different specifications. On the contrary, they got hands-on experience with the heat treatment and tempering process, hardness testing machine, pantograph copying milling machine, EDM, WEDM, CNC milling machine, 3D printer machine, planer machine, vertical boring machine, jig boring machine, and so on. The students firmly believe that this training program will help them in the future to build a career as “Industrial Engineers”. Lastly, the students would like to thank all the technicians of the workshop where they have seen all the work and how it is done as the technicians gave them that space to see.
