On January 25, 2026, the IEOM Society AUST Student Chapter successfully organized a seminar titled ODOO presents seminar on “Enterprise Efficiency:ODOO ERP for Resilience” at the VC Seminar Room of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST).

The keynote session was conducted by Mr. Shaifuddin Nayeem, Chief Business Officer of Dot BD Solutions Limited, and Mr. Md. Rajibul Islam, Chief Operating Officer and ODOO Certified Consultant of Dot BD Solutions Limited. During the session, the speakers discussed modern Enterprise Resource Planning systems and explained how ODOO ERP helps organizations improve efficiency and build resilience in today’s competitive business environment.

They shared practical insights on how Odoo ERP streamlines daily operations, connects different business functions, and supports better decision making. Real life industry examples were presented to help participants understand how ERP systems are used in actual organizations and how they support long term sustainable growth.

The seminar was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. A N Mustafizul Karim, Head of the MPE Department, and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed. The event was also supported by Ms. Afia Ahsan, Faculty Advisor of AUST IEOM Society, and Lecturer Mr. Md. Jawad Bin Rouf. Their guidance and encouragement played an important role in making the seminar successful. Ms. Afia Ahsan delivered a brief speech where she highlighted the importance of practical learning, industry engagement, and the use of modern digital tools such as ERP systems for students’ future careers.

Students and professionals actively participated in the seminar and engaged in open discussions with the speakers. The session helped participants gain a clearer understanding of enterprise efficiency, real world ERP applications, and current industry practices.
