Mechanical and Production Engineering

A group of four students, Md. Mohiminur Rahman Mobin (ID – 190207123), Minara Zaman Mim (ID – 190207118) , Saeef Safoan (ID – 200107055)  and Monirul Hasan Shanto (ID – 20220107144) from the IPE program participated in an industrial attachment at PERFETTI Van Melle BD Ltd., from October 26 to October 31, 2023. From this attachment, they gained practical knowledge about different departments. They got to experience the entire manufacturing process of different confectionary sections, sugar milling section, the confectionary and culinary section, Chupa Chups section, Center Fruit section, Center Fresh section of PERFETTI Van Melle, and finally the engineering section, which includes both utilities and maintenance. They also got hands-on experience with different conveyors, confectionary process, supply chain management, metal test equipment, automatic filling, mixing machine, and even the reuse of power pack.
