Student of Department of Architecture has nominated as the IAB student representative for the ARCASIA student Jamboree 2023

Aditya Chowdhury, currently in the 3rd year of the 1st Semester in the Department of Architecture at AUST, has received a prestigious nomination as the IAB student representative for the ARCASIA student Jamboree 2023. The ARCASIA student Jamboree is an integral part of the Asia Congress of Architects (ACA), a biennial event that brings together architects and students from across Asia. This year's ACA event is scheduled to be held in the picturesque Boracay Island, Philippines, spanning from September 17th to September 22nd, 2023.

The overarching theme of the 2023 ACA event, which is being hosted by the Philippines, is 'Paghahabi: Weaving a Future-Ready Environment.' This theme aims to explore innovative and forward-looking approaches to addressing the challenges posed by a rapidly changing world. As part of the Jamboree, students hailing from diverse Asian countries will actively engage in discussions and activities centered around their responses to transformative changes introduced by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Aditya Chowdhury's nomination for the role of IAB student representative came after he successfully participated in an interview conducted by the IAB (Institute of Architects Bangladesh). This interview involved twelve representative students from 12 universities accredited by IAB. Out of the five final candidates, Aditya secured the second position, making him feel immensely delighted and honored to represent not only his country but also his university at the prestigious event.

In conclusion, Aditya Chowdhury's outstanding achievements and dedication to his field of study have earned him the privilege of representing his university and country at the ARCASIA student Jamboree 2023, an event that promises to foster meaningful discussions and creative ideas on building a future-ready environment in the face of global transformations.
