Aditya Chowdhury, a 4th-year student from the Department of Architecture at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), recently had the honor of exhibiting his academic studio work which was held in group consisting Fami Ahmed, Thamidur Rahman and Asowad Rahman,  at the prestigious Hua Hin Artist Village (Baan Sillapin) in Thailand. The exhibition took place on June 7–8, 2025, and featured two of his group-based studio projects: “Design of Purbachal Eco Park as a Recreational Space” (Urban Design) and “Design of a RAJUK Apartment Housing for Higher Income Group at Uttara” (Housing Settlement).

Held over two days, the event attracted a wide range of international visitors, including artists, architects, academics, and enthusiasts. Hua Hin Artist Village, a prominent cultural venue located in the scenic town of Hua Hin, is known for its dynamic environment that blends traditional Thai art with contemporary practices. It serves as a platform for global creative expression and artistic dialogue.

Followed by an enriching dialogue session with the students and faculty of the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, where we exchanged perspectives on the architectural and building materials and construction practices of Bangladesh and Thailand. The display of Aditya’s work in such an internationally respected space stands as a proud moment for the AUST architecture community.

This international recognition underscores the academic excellence fostered at AUST Architecture and highlights the potential of its students to engage with architectural discourse on a global platform.
