It is a matter of great
achievement and pleasure that due to untiring efforts of everybody,
AUST has been able to step forward to a new era by entering in the
permanent campus and classes commenced on 19 April 2008 as per
schedule. Our mission is to protect the properties of the university
and keep the campus clean of dirty things and non-academic activities.
At the same time we do value the safety and security for all of
us at the campus. For these reasons we must restrict the entry into
the premises to only bonafide students, teachers, officers and staff
of AUST and others as authorised by the university. Therefore all the teachers, students, officers and staff are requested to wear their ID cards positively while entering the campus as well as during stay at the premises. The security guards have been instructed to start checking ID cards for entry at the main gate from Sunday, 18 May 2008. Those who have not yet collected their ID cards are requested to collect the same from the office of the respective Head of the Department. Only authorised vehicles will be allowed to enter the premises on showing the valid permit which may be obtained from the office of the Chairman, Transport Committee (Office of the Dean of Engineering). Part time Teachers are requested to kindly contact the respective Head of the Department for necessary information in these regards. Other distinguished visitors can enter only after proper identification. It is expected that all concerned would come forward with full support and cooperation. |
